BLUES UNFOLDED
Ground-breaking within
Swedish music journalism, Blues Unfolded is the first Swedish
book published dealing with the blues life in Sweden. 151 black-and-white,
top-notch photographs of both
international and Swedish blues musicians, exhibiting the intensity
and presence of blues music in performance. 23 articles, of philosophical,
personal and anecdotal character, on selected blues musicians,
along with an essay concerning the birth of Åmål's
Blues Fest, the largest blues festival in Sweden.
R. L. Burnside, Eric Bibb, Jimmy Dawkins, T-Model Ford, Magic
Slim and Robert Belfour are but a few of all the legendary American
bluesmen represented, alongside Scandinavian top blues players
such as Peps Persson, Rolf Wikström, Louise Hoffsten, Baba
Blues, Jukka Tolonen and Knut Reiersrud.
For the blues aficionado, the release of Blues Unfolded is a
can't miss.
